How Pizza factory Began

Pizza factory started with a simple belief: that great pizza deserves great ingredients, real craftsmanship, and a community that feels like family.

Founded in Bakersfield, California, our pizzafactory roots go back to a family kitchen where every dough ball was hand-stretched and every sauce was simmered from scratch. What began as weekend cookouts for neighbors quickly grew into something bigger — a full pizza factory operation serving the heart of the Central Valley.

2008

The First Dough Was Stretched

Pizza factory founder Marco Delgado began experimenting with stone-oven pizza recipes in his Bakersfield home kitchen, quickly gaining a loyal following among neighbors and friends who couldn't get enough.

2011

First Physical Location Opens

Riding on community demand, Pizza factory opened its first brick-and-mortar location on Ming Avenue. The pizaa factory operation sold out every night for the first three months straight.

2014

Menu Expands & Team Grows

We introduced specialty pizzas, fresh pasta, and our now-legendary garlic knots. The team grew from 5 to 20 passionate food lovers committed to the pizza factory standard of excellence.

2018

Award-Winning Recognition

Pizza factory was named "Best Pizza in Bakersfield" for the first time by the Kern County Food Guide — an honor we've proudly defended every year since. Our pizzafactory recipe became a local legend.

2021

Move to Stine Road — New Home

We relocated to our current flagship location at 4200 Stine Rd Suite F, Bakersfield, CA 93313 — a larger, fully equipped pizza factory facility with a modern stone oven, expanded seating, and online ordering.

2024–Present

Franchise Program Launches

Pizza factory launched its official franchise program, inviting passionate entrepreneurs to bring the pizza factory experience to communities across the United States. The future of Pizza factory is bigger than ever.
